We are looking for a supplier for a printing belt for a biscuit line with reciprocating cutter. The current belt is made from 100% cotton yarn, both in the weft and warp. It is open-ended, not endlessly woven. The loop is hand-stitched with cotton yarn after installation on the machine. A critical parameter is that the belt must be free of loose fibers, as these fibers can transfer to the dough when the cutting tool presses against the belt. One process step during cotton belt production that can eliminate loose fibers from the surface is singeing.
