What shore hardness do you recommend on the rubber roller for rotary moulding? Also is the shore hardness messured in Shore A or Shore D?
Rubber roller shore hardness recommended for
Short dough variants:(moulder variants)---70-75MHO
for Hard/cracker/fermented dough variants---75-80MHO.
Shore hardness to be checked on various parts across the rubber roller dia when you are able to keep the pin of the hardness meter properly on the shore of the roller.
If shore hardness is less it is better to rerubberise and use the same.
Optimum shore hardness on rubber rollers is largely dependent also on the kind of receipe used.
65/70 gives good results, Have you tried the dual hardness rubber rollers?
